A flagship golf tournament honoring Tighe's love of the game. A full day of golf, community, and fundraising in his name. Join us for a meaningful day of golf, games, and giving back as we celebrate the life and legacy of Tighe Rogers.
The Tough Like Tighe Invitational is more than a golf tournament — it’s a community event built around connection, generosity, and honoring the spirit of someone who inspired so many. Throughout the day, guests will enjoy a golf scramble, competitive lawn games, great food and drinks, and a special care package assembly benefiting Children's Minnesota.

REGISTER
Join us Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Braemar Golf Club for the Tough Like Tighe Invitational. The day includes an 18-hole golf scramble, lawn games, food, drinks, and a care package assembly benefiting Children's Minnesota. Foursomes are $800 and include 4 golfers, a lunch buffet, and appetizers at 19th hole. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just along for a great day, every spot helps us honor Tighe's legacy in the most fitting way possible.
VOLUNTEER
Help bring joy and comfort to families battling childhood cancer. Volunteer to staff the care package assembly station, run outdoor games, or sell raffle tickets at the event.
Can't make it day-of? We also welcome donations of new blankets, Legos, art kits, toiletries, gift cards, and coloring supplies for Children's Minnesota care packages. Drop-offs accepted in advance at 5413 Halifax Lane or at the event by 1pm.

Tighe soared with a joy in adventurous ways,
With a heart full of dreams, and a spirit so free,
He chased every sunset, he reached for the sea.
In the soft flutter of wings, a message unfolds,
Of love everlasting, through stories retold.
Dragonflies carry the essence of flight,
A symbol of change, of hope in the night,
Through forests and rivers, where memories flow,
He wanders beside us, in the soft evening glow,
In laughter and love,
In the breeze that we feel,
His adventurous heart, in our souls, is still real.
So let us remember, as the dragonflies play,
That life is a journey, a beautiful sway,
For even in loss, there’s a magic we find,
In the flutter of wings, Tighe’s forever entwined.

Tough Like Tighe is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 to honor the life, spirit, and legacy of Tighe—a son, a brother, a friend, a teammate, and a bright light to all who knew him. Tighe was known for the way he lifted those around him with kindness, humor, strength, and unwavering generosity. When he lost his brave battle with glioblastoma in 2025, the community that loved him deeply came together to carry forward the good he brought into the world.

Inspired by Tighe's courage, compassion, and resilience, Tough Like Tighe exists to uplift and support children and their families. We partner with organizations and individuals that strive to make a difference in the lives of others. Through partnerships, community engagement, and compassionate care, we strive to bring strength, hope, and meaningful support to every child we serve.
Our collaboration with the Minnesota Golf Association and Youth on Course aims to expand access to the game Tighe loved - empowering youth through opportunity, connection, and play. Funds raised will provide scholarships, equipment, and access to golf for youth in need. Golf was one of Tighe's greatest passions, and we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to experience the life lessons, confidence, friendships, and personal growth that the game provides.
In partnership with Children's Minnesota, we bring meaningful support to patients and their families facing medical challenges by providing comfort items, fostering creativity, and building a strong sense of community care. Inspired by the amazing support we received at Children's Hospital, our goal is to provide resources for children and their families by hosting an event for the community to give back by assembling toiletry kits, art kits, legos, blankets, and gift cards. Inspired by Tighe's strength and compassion for others, it's these small gestures that make a world of difference, bringing a small amount of joy and hope to children facing tough medical journeys and serve as a reminder that they are never fighting alone. Together, we can help provide comfort and inspire community service.
Tighe left us far too early, but not before he showed us how to live with purpose, have a lot of fun embracing adventure, and fight bravely all the way and be TOUGH LIKE TIGHE.
